now have yet another awesome band to add to the

| Biography-
Blending hip-hop rhythm and rhyme with jazz virtuosity and a liberating
spirit of pure improvisation, Pensativa has emerged as one of
the most engaging and original band on the bustling Los Angeles
club scene. With potent and persuasive a live performance that
regularly packs shows throughout the region, Pensativa has gained
a fanatically loyal fan base the old fashioned way – one
show at a time.
Now, Pensativa is poised to take their innovative and infectious
sound to a whole new level with the release of What’s The
Problem Is..?, the long awaited follow-up to their 2002 independent
release, Pensativa. An impressive showcase for such originals
as “Six Degrees Of Alon,” “Jo Jo After Four,”
“Tuesday” and “Devil’s Lullaby.”
Nationally released on DoughMain Records, What’s The Problem
Is..? will be followed up with a string of selected tour dates
by a sextet that has already gained an extensive word of mouth
reputation with sold out shows at the renowned House of Blues,
the Whiskey A Go Go, BB King’s and virtually everywhere
else in Southern California where people gather to hear great
music. They have already had the privilege of performing with
several of their biggest influences including Blackalicious, Visionaries,
String Cheese Incident, and several occasions with the multi-cultural
Ozomatli.
Pensativa’s What’s The Problem Is..?, a collection
of musically astute, consummately crafted and instantly accessible
original tracks that deliver on all the promise of Pensativa’s
live show…and then some.
With What’s The Problem Is..?, Pensativa moves a giant step
forward in a career that has already taken them a long way.
